Job Description

Experienced Analyst Programmer, you are a subject matter expert at contributing to different phases of the Software Development life cycle.  Work within a Multiple Projects, carry out the scope of work agreed and fulfil the contract terms and conditions with our Clients to bring accuracy and efficiency in delivering the products and services.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Be the subject matter expert at the client site, addressing the technical and strategic IT needs
  • Working in an agile scrum team, will be involved from the planning and design stages through to the post-release support
  • Collect the client requirements, analyse, prepare Technical and user documents.
  • Examines existing software and determines requirements for new/modified systems in the light of business needs.
  • undertakes feasibility study to design software solutions
  • Writes and codes individual programs according to specifications
  • Develops user interfaces, APIs
  • Tests and corrects software programs
  • Implements and evaluates the software;
  • Writes operational documentation and provides subsequent support and training for users
  • Experience of running functional, compliance and acceptance tests, on a number of projects
  • Experience in identifying test cases and creating test scripts
    Understanding of different test techniques, and best industry practices
  • Assisting with validation activities and training system administrator users and end-users

Key Requirements

  • Must have a Degree / PG Diploma in IT
  • Experience within a large commercial environment
  • A good understanding of Project life cycle, software installations and maintenance, testing processes and techniques
  • Experience of Testing IT systems and Software for potential threats, recommending software and systems quality improvement, systems analysis, identifying risk and offering solutions, improving
  • Good exposure on, GUI design using VB / C# .Net framework, System Architecture design, External Peripheral interface using RS232, USB, VGA ports in .Net Framework on Windows & Linux
  • PHP programming, Java, apache server and web page designing tools
  • Web server applications (Apache)
  • Microsoft technologies C, VC++, VS 6.0, Visual Studio – later versions, MS SQL Server preferred, Apache, XML
  • Application integration with other peripherals
  • Software development life cycle – software design, analysis, coding and testing
  • Software processes / quality methods (CMMI) preferred
  • Good verbal & written communication skills and should have worked with global teams
  • Ability to lead a team, work on own initiative with minimal supervision, deliver high quality work in a timely manner to tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral, client facing skills are required.
  • Travel to client sites, may require up to 100%, the candidate should be prepared to work at our various centres across UK

Preferred / Advantage

  • Knowledge of Six Sigma and Settlement
  • Knowledge of SQL Server 2014 and Big Data
  • Knowledge of ITIL Processes

Salary £28,500 – £37,500 per annum (Depends upon experience)
